Later on I have 2000 shield and regen 600 every couple attacks, but mobs hit for 700-800 dmg. Early on I have 200 shield and mobs doe 20 dmg and I regen 80 shield every couple attacks. Yet early on, shield is extremely strong, because enemies don't do that much damage. I can have a gigantic shield on my mage, but it gets taken down almost instantly. I really hate that the shield is not affected by armor. It seems, I can use that to setup a money region quite well, but for everything else it seems pretty useless as it will end up being far from optimal. But I have no idea how the region looks, where the lakes are, where the most profitable spots are.
Yes, I can layout a region and build a lot of buildings at once. It's a very very fun set of mods and even though it's not balanced well with Bob's (it basically lets you skip 2-3 tiers of progression), it leaves the endgame alone so it doesn't make Bob's obsolete.Īngel's adds several steps to ore processing - it basically adds logistical challenges to the early and midgame, which can be a lot of fun after you know the base game inside and out. Yuoki's is more balanced to be Vanilla+, but has some of the most beautiful machine models and animations I've seen in the game. There's a few mods that add a lot of items and features that will take a bit more time, energy, and thought/planning than Vanilla, and those you'd want to start a new game with for sure.
